Summer ending soon

I can't hardly believe that summer is coming to an end. Brendon starts back to school on August 27th, which is also the day after his 9th birthday. I also cannot believe that my son is about to turn 9! Where did all of that time go??? We have been super busy this summer, and have made sure to fill it full of great activities for all of us. Next week Brendon will be going to the beach with my parents, and I will get a little break. I am going to need it before all of the homework starts back again. Any of you that still have small children, just wait. After all of the dirty diapers, and toddler tantrums have passed, they start to school. Brendon will be in 3rd grade this year, and will have end of grade testing. I am sure you all remember having to do this in school. I would definately say that it has helped me appreciate my parents staying up long nights to help me finish a multitude of projects. Last year we began to get a taste of projects, and it isn't pretty. We just found out Brendon's teacher for this year, and her reputation precedes her. She is known at the school to be one of the best most patient teachers. That is what we need. I am looking forward to a great year...



Last week Brendon had golf camp. Doesn't he look like a pro? He certainly had a great time. He started playing golf at the age of 3. Look out Tiger...



This past Sunday, we went to Eric's nieces birthday party. We all had a great time. Even Eric had his party face on, literally.

They had the coolest inflatable slip and slide. They have definitely improved since I was a kid. All of the kids had a great time, and the adults did too. It was so hot outside many of the adults went on it in their clothes.

They also had a pool set up for everyone to swim in. Brendon didn't want his picture taken, so he dunked his head under the water.
