Amy's blog

This is a blog about me, Amy,my husband, Eric, and my son's Brendon and Gabriel. I really just want a space to write down all of the little things that you forget in everyday life. I have started this blog to have a place to remember all of Brendon's (and now Gabriel's) little antics and the funny things that he says and does.

Lions, and Tigers, and Bears, Oh My!!!

Well, we went to the zoo on Saturday and had a blast! Lora generously offered to drive me, Brendon, and Eric. This was Brendon's first time to the zoo, and he was so excited. When we got there, we decided to split off from the girls because Brendon is 8 and was soooo excited, that he pratically ran through the zoo. We had a very good time, and my calves are still hurting from all of the walking that we did. So here are the pics:

The elephants were one of my favorite things to see.
Brendon thought so too

I thought this turtle looked so cool with the way he blended in the scenary

This flower just looked really pretty to me, and I wanted a picture

Here is the huge gorilla laying on his back

My guys

The polar bear was also awesome. They were found in a Mexican circus and rescued a few years ago. That is why they are still quite underweight for a polar bear.

This was the arctic fox. Isn't it beutiful?

And the sea lions were my favorite animal that I saw at the zoo. They were the most graceful swimmers and beutiful creatures. It was like they were putting on a show for everybody.

Look how still the alligator is waiting for it's prey...

Ostrich

Giraffes and zebras are really cool looking in person. I had never seen one before.

Eric must have take 20 picture of these lions. They we gorgeous.

The sea lions were our favorite part, too. And those lions were absolutely amazing! Could you imagine seeing one of those coming at you in the wild??
