Amy's blog

This is a blog about me, Amy,my husband, Eric, and my son's Brendon and Gabriel. I really just want a space to write down all of the little things that you forget in everyday life. I have started this blog to have a place to remember all of Brendon's (and now Gabriel's) little antics and the funny things that he says and does.

Busy Week

Well, we have been very busy this past week. On Monday and Tuesday, my first days off, I was very bored and I wanted something to do. So Wednesday, I decided to take Lily off of Lora's hands for the day. We had a blast. Lily and I went to Brendon's school to eat lunch with him. After lunch, it was time for recess, and instead of playing with his friends, Brendon wanted to sit out and play with Lily. It was just sooooo sweet. At the end of the day we met Lora at Brendon's game, and her and Lily stayed for awhile.
Brendon always wants to carry Lily around and she loves it. Here is the evidence:

On Friday, Brendon had field day. Of course field day is the best day of the school year for the kids. The kids had noon dismissal and I was a volunteer for the moon bounce.
Brendon doesn't look too happy in this pic b/c he was about to take a spelling test

Everybody loves the parachute. It is sooo much fun!

Here are some picutures of Brendon hanging with his posse on field day.

Brendon was the second person to throw the ball at the dunking booth, and he nailed it. Here he is winding up to make the throw.

After our very big field day, we went shopping and did some other things. Eric had taken the day off, so we got to spend the day with him. It was great. At the end of the day, we were going to have Mommy and Brendon night. This week I decided to do an ice cream Sunday party because Brendon did such a good job on reading this year at school. We watched "Rookie of the Year" and made Sundays and had an absolute blast.

On Saturday morning, Brendon's baseball team started their tournament. They won 21-1. Brendon struck out in the first inning and he had tears welting up in his eyes, so I went to get him nachos to cheer him up. Well it worked. The very next inning he scored a grand slam! I am so proud of him for his acheivements this year.
