All Stars

Well, Brendon has started out on his third baseball team since April. We came home from the beach on Friday night, and had to be at the ballfield at 8:15am on Saturday morning. His All Star team had their first tournament this weekend. They did pretty well considering they have only had 2 practices together. They won 2 games and lost 2 games. We will be having 3 more tournaments this summer, so there is definately room for lots of practice. Brendon played first base just about the entire tournament. Looks like all of the coaches agree that he is best at 1st base.
In the fall Brendon has to move up to kid pitch. I have heard this is a humbling experience because none of the kids know how to pitch, and batters are constantly getting hit with the ball. Hopefully we won't experience too many injuries.
We will get a break this weekend and then next weekend we will be having another tournament. I need to just set up a tent at the ballfield...
