Lilypie Baby Ticker Lilypie 1st Birthday Ticker

Amy's blog

This is a blog about me, Amy,my husband, Eric, and my son's Brendon and Gabriel. I really just want a space to write down all of the little things that you forget in everyday life. I have started this blog to have a place to remember all of Brendon's (and now Gabriel's) little antics and the funny things that he says and does.

Beach Blog

Well, we are back from the beach and we had an absolute blast. Brendon and I joined with Eric's mom, brother, sister-in-law, neices, and later in the week, Lora and Lily. I took lots of pictures and enjoyed spending time with Eric's family.

Here is a picture of Brendon in a tree at Calabash. It was a popular picture spot. Everyone was putting their kids in the tree for cute pics.
Eric took Brendon down to the dock to fish. I love this pic of my guys;)

This is Brendon and Eric's neice, Hailey, in the same tree from above.

Eric and I on the beach. Brendon took this pic, and I think he did a great job.

Brendon on Eric's back in the ocean.

On Wednesday, we set up the bubble machine and the sprinkler in the back yard so the kids could play. Eric's mom is in the background. Somehow she avoided being photographed all week. I don't think I got a single picture of her...

On Tuesday, Eric had to take off and go back to work. Lora and Lily came to join us on Wednesday. Thursday was a bit to cloudy for the beach so we headed to Alligator Adventure. Here is a picture of Eric's neices with Brendon. Aren't they all sooooo cute?

Brendon pets a huge tortoise at the Alligator Adventure.

Another pic of Hailey and Brendon. I swear they were inseperable the whole week.

I couldn't believe how still the alligators were. At first, they didn't look real.

Water buffalo. When we walked by, the stinch was so bad, I thought Lora might throw up. They were cool to look at, though.

While in Alligator Adventure, we went to see one of the shows. It was a really good one because they were filming for a commercial, so they brought out animals they don't normally bring out in the shows.

Look at this adorable baby Siberian Tiger.

And a baby wolf

Here are all of the children on a statue of an alligator. This is one of my favorite pics.

On our last day, it started out kind of cloudy. We weren't going to leave until Saturday, but Lora and I decided to pack up a day early. Lily was not used to sleeping in a strange place, and we were all exhausted. We packed up our things and then walked on the pier and went on the beach.

Here is Brendon on the pier.

Once again, the dynamic duo.

A blurry pic of Brendon skipping stones in the ocean

Brendon was mad because I wouldn't let him get in the ocean to swim. I didn't want his clothes wet for the ride home.

Here is a pic of Lily's meltdown. She threw a tantrum b/c she didn't want mommy to hold her hand in the ocean. Isn't she little miss independent?

I am really glad that we got to go to the beach last week. It was perfect b/c I start a new job with the Red Cross next week, and I have had a very enjoyable break since school ended. Now it is time for me to join back into the real world.

Geez, Amy, not only are you so photogenic, you are very tan! I am jealous!

Brendon looks like such a little man with his arm around Hailey.

Lily looks so dramatic in her tantrum picture. I know it's not funny, but that made me laugh.

You guys went to my favorite place at the beach - Alligator Adventure! That Siberian tiger cub was oh so cute. But I don't know if I would be brave enough to pet that huge turtle.
