Thursday Night Game

Well, Brendon's game last night was a real nail biter. His team, "The Bullets" had a rough start. They scored one run in the first inning, and then the other team scored 7. By the end of the third inning they were tied. By the end of the fifth inning the Bullet's were back. They got up 17-11. It was the last inning and the other team was up to bat. They got the score up to 17-15, and we were just hoping for those 3 outs so that they could win. The Bullets pulled it together and won the game.
Brendon played very well last night. He was first baseman for all but one inning. He made two double runs. He only got out once, and that was b/c he was on base, there were two outs, and the batter struck out. There was one play that him and the third baseman kept doing to get outs. The other team would hit the ball to third base, and the third baseman got it to first base in order to get the runner out at first. They used this play three times successfully.
We have two more games this weekend, a game Wed., and a tournament next weekend. The team is looking really nice.
FYI: Sorry if this baseball stuff bores all of you bloggers in blogger land, but I think that Brendon will appreciate having a recap in writing.
