This Past Weekend

Well, I have to say that these two games were a little less eventful than the one on Thursday night. In the first game, we got through all 10 batters in 3 out of the 4 innings that we played. There is a rule in this league that if your team is up by 10 points at the end of the fourth inning, then you stop the game. Brendon's team shut down the Saturday game by the fourth inning with a final score of 24-5. Brendon played a great defense at first base. The game on Sunday was a little better matched. The other team they were playing were actually pretty good, but Brendon's team has very good batters and the other teams defense just couldn't stand up to that. Brendon's team also shut them down by the end of the fourth inning with a final score of 21-11. I have looked at the stats, and right now Brendon's team is in second with having lost only one game. The coach of the team that is in first place, is Brendon's challenge team coach. We lost our game to that team. It will be very challenging to play them in the final rec ball tournament.
I will have lots to report this weekend, because there is a challenge team tournament. Brendon is scheduled to play 5 games over the course of the weekend starting Friday night. On Saturday we will be at the ball field from 8am-3pm! It's a good thing that I enjoy the games... This game I will take some pics.
BTW, Lora says she is going to come be Brendon's cheerleader and dress up with pigtails and a skirt. I think he is really scared that she may actually do it;)
