I've Come A Long Way...
Well, this is what I look like now. This is how most of you know me to look. It has now been 14 months since I had gastric bypass surgery. Who knew it would be such a life altering experience. It changed not only my body, but my mind and spirit as well. I would do it again in a heartbeat. I dug up some old pics and posted them below.
This is me with my friend that now lives in Scotland. It was taken about a month ago.

This picture was taken about one month before my surgery. I know it is not a full body shot, but you get the idea.

This was taken about a year ago. I had already lost somewhere in the ball park of 40lbs.

This last picture was taken last Feb. I had lost 40-50 lbs.

Thanks you so much to all the people who have been there with me through this journey. I appreciate all of the support from friends and family. A special thanks to Lora, my mom and dad, and Eric for all of the love and kindness you have shown throughout this past year. The grand total weight loss= 140lbs.!!!

Oooh! I got a shout-out :)
That picture from one month before your surgery doesn't even look like you! I'm so used to seeing you the way you are that I don't remember the old Amy.
I'm glad your surgery has been a resounding success and holy hell, 140 is A LOT of weight. That is an entire me! Congrats, that's AWESOME!
I'm so happy for you! No matter what, you have always had that same beautiful smile though. Good work! I've really been trying to lose weight too (I've lost 30 lbs. since September and it feels so great). Congrats to you!
Amy you look fabulous and I know it has been rough for you. I've seen what you've gone through over the past few months. I just can't believe how great you look and how much happier you are. Lora's right that picture before your surgery doesn't look like you. You know though you've always been beautiful to me and I'm not just saying that because you're my daughter. I love you bunches!!!
Amy, what an amazing transformation! Look at all you have accomplished in a year! I am amazed you lost so much weight. You look incredible, beautiful, and overall, very, very happy.
(I love that pic of you with Lora, where you have your arm stretched out. It's like you're saying, "Here I am, world!")
