This One's For You, Lora!

Lora reminded me that I really needed to update, so here I am. I have taken on 19 hours this semester and I graduate in May. I hope that you bloggers will forgive me if I don't update much again this semester. I don't have any spare time. Right now, I am so deprived of sleep I feel like by the end of the school year, I will look pretty scary.

Anyway, alot has been happening for Brendon and I these past few months. I am finishing up school, and Brendon is moving right along in second grade. The teaches say that his math skills are the best in his class. He can see things spatially, alot like his mommy. His reading comprehension, well, that needs a little work.

My boyfriend, Eric, has begun playing a very important role in Brendon's life. He takes him to do all kinds of fun "boy" things. They hang out and play, and I think that it has really had a positive affect on Brendon.

It is sooooooo sweet. I just love it. Eric is the father figure that Brendon has never had in his life. So here is a convo b/t me and Brendon in the car today:

Brendon: I want Eric to be my dad someday

Mommy: Well, maybe, one day when we get married, Eric can adopt you.

Brendon: Does that mean I am up for adoption???
I just thought that I would interject that conversation because I thought it was hilarious.
