Amy's blog

This is a blog about me, Amy,my husband, Eric, and my son's Brendon and Gabriel. I really just want a space to write down all of the little things that you forget in everyday life. I have started this blog to have a place to remember all of Brendon's (and now Gabriel's) little antics and the funny things that he says and does.

A Plethora of Subjects

Ok, so I know that I haven't posted in awhile, but my schedule has gone haywire. I am just going to have to cram our whole week into one post.

Halloween is still one of my favorite times of year, and yes, I do get dressed up and go to parties. My favorite costume this year, had to be my friend John. He made this costume himself, and freaked everyone out. He even had the colored contacts to go with the whole outfit. Didn't he do a great job?

This was my costume for Saturday night. Arrrrrggggg!!! Are you scared yet?

On Sunday night, Brendon and I went to a pumpkin carving party at my friend Jami's house. Brendon had a blast playing with the other kids and carving his pumkin. He insisted on carving the pumpkin without any help. He did get my friend Eric to take the top off, but he did the rest of it himself.

Brendon's baseball team had their tournament this weekend. We had to go to two games on Saturday, one game on Sunday, and he had the final game on Monday night. At the beginning of the season, I was a little concerned about the team. The kids were all so small. Well, once again Brendon got on the team that won the championship! Two seasons in a row! Go Blue Devils! I keep trying to tell him that he won't alway be on the winning teams, but he just doesn't believe me. They are doing an article about his team in a South Charlotte magazine, and they will post the team picture. I am just soooo proud of him.

Here he stands with the medal that he got after the final game.

On Halloween night, Brendon was really ready to get out and Trick or Treat. Our neighborhood has to be one of the best neighborhoods in Charlotte to Trick or Treat in. My friend Erica brought her son over, and we all went for the walk through our neighborhood. We had just as much fun as the boys did.

Brendon was an Army officer and he refused to smile because he said that Army officers aren't supposed to smile :)

Here is Brendon's pumpkin all lit up. I think it looked really good. He was proud of himself.

Here are the dynamic duo, Brendon and Elijah.
