Eric is WONDERFUL!!! The sequal

Look, I am posting more than once in a week. It is a record!
Well, yesterday was interesting to say the least...
After I got home, we all had to take the medicine for pinworms because anybody that has been around Brendon is at risk. I believe I have done approx. 8-10 loads of laundry since yesterday. The medicine we had to take causes extreme stomach upset, and Eric and I didn't really even feel like eating dinner. We had planned to go out to eat, but that stuff was awful. So we ordered Outback, and sat around and played UNO like ten times in a row.
Last night, we were both just exhausted from the long day. I fell asleep very early. Brendon woke me up at 2:45am, and wanted to take a shower because he was itching. Eric then told me, that was Brendon's 3rd shower last night, and Eric had stayed up with him for two hours in his room until he fell asleep just a couple of hours earlier! I asked him why he didn't wake me up, and he simply said that I was tired and needed to get some rest. I feel like I need someone to pinch me. It just doesn't seem real, that I could have found a man to treat me and my son so well.


We were able to have birthday celebration for Eric. I baked him this cake. It was pretty good. The first cake I have ever made.




In other news, I had a conference with Brendon's teachers the other day. They said since Eric has come into our lives, Brendon seems like a new child. He doesn't get the attitude he used to get, and his behavior has improved ten fold. He just seems so much happier. Oh, and get this, he told his teacher that he wants Eric to be his dad one day. That just really touched my heart, and reaffirmed that I have found "the one". As cliche as that may sound, it really is true.

Hope you all in blogger land are doing well. I want to try and update at least once a week from now on, but we all know how that goes. I am just super busy with school. I do graduate in May though! Woo hoo!
