Amy's blog

This is a blog about me, Amy,my husband, Eric, and my son's Brendon and Gabriel. I really just want a space to write down all of the little things that you forget in everyday life. I have started this blog to have a place to remember all of Brendon's (and now Gabriel's) little antics and the funny things that he says and does.

OCD

Ok, I know I haven't posted in awhile, but I think that you guys will love this one. My neurotic tendencies are really rubbing off on Brendon, and I noticed this the other day at Carrabas. I was supposed to be able to go to the Panthers game, but I found out at last minute that my dad was able to get off work, and took the extra ticket. So instead, I decided to have lunch with my friend, Holly, at Carrabas. I figured that they would have TV's and I could at least check the score every few minutes.
It was getting close to the end of our lunch and the children were getting antsy. I told Brendon that he could go check the score for me. I told him to go over and ask the bartender what the score was. He simply replied, "I can find it myself." I thought, "wow let's see if he can remember it between the tv and our booth in the corner." He came back to the booth and I asked, "What was the score?" He said , "90". I told him that there had to be two different scores, and he must have gotten it confused. He then said with conviction, "No, mom, I am sure that their Sanitation Score was 90, I double checked!" Holly and I just about peed in our pants. It was hilarious. At least I know Brendon won't be eating at resteraunts that have a low Sanitation Grade, because he knows exactly where to look for it.

Ha ha ha! He is so funny! "I double-checked!"

It's a good thing he didn't check the score for the game - it would have been far too depressing.

That story made me laugh. Brendon seems like such a neat kid. I can't wait till I can meet him one day, as I'm sure we'll all get together one of these days!

That is so funny. I can't wait to see him in action. I can tell he's changed so much since the last time I saw him--I think it was at Jen's wedding.

Oh yeah, Kirby is on Abuteral, but only on an as needed basis--THANK GOD. It used to make me so hyper and jittery. My mom said I used to wake up in the middle of the night and clean my room when I was on it. It does seem to help but we try to give it to him at least an hour before bedtime to help get the jitters out a little before we put him down. Thanks for asking. :)
