Random News From The Week
I have to begin this post by writing about Brendon's most recent "occurence" at school. I got a phone call on Thursday from Brendon's teacher informing me that Brendon was playing outside, and he decided to relieve himself in the woods, #2!!! I just couldn't believe that my son had done such a thing. I asked her why she thinks that he acts up at school, but not at home, and she wasn't very much help. The following day, which was the last day of school, I found out why. Brendon worked very hard to make chocolate covered strawberries as a gift for his teachers. He was soooo proud of his culinary abilities. I helped him bring in the strawberries to his teacher, and she didn't even utter a word. Not a thank you, or anything. She just looked at him as though it were ridiculous for us to think that strawberries are good enough for her. I witnessed the whole thing, and frankly I was disgusted! Brendon told me that one child put a $100 bill in a card for her gift. That disgusted me even more! Brendon put alot of thought and care into his gift, and he was proud of it. I was proud of him for doing such a kind thing. I never realized it before, but I think that she just didn't like him. Alot of teachers pick their favorites, and don't treat the other kids as well. If I were one of her students I would have acted like a #%!* too! I still had to punish him for what he did, so he is currently writing "I will not poop in the woods" 100 times. He hates it. I will remember this for future "occurences"
All of the pictures below are from last weekend. I have been too busy to really take the time to make a post, so I just uploaded the pics. We pretty much stayed at the pool all weekend this week too. My friend Erica and I are getting pretty tan. Some of the pics have duplicates. Sorry.

Me and Erica frying by the pool. Actually, I was the only frying bc I am so pale
Brendon and Elijah love the pool

You can one-up that rich kid and give all his teachers $200 next year! That'll buy 'em! I will keep it light, since thinking about ANYbody treating Bben badly really gets me mad!
The pool looks like so much fun! Elijah is looking more and more like Erica all the time! The boys looks so darling...almost innocent :)
You didn't tell me that the wench didn't even say thank you. How rude can you be???? If I were you, I think I'd have to report the old hag. I don't like her one bit and how on earth could you not love Brendon?? The more I think about this the madder I'm getting!!! No wonder he acted out at school. He figured she didn't like him anyway, so he may as well live up to his reputation. I'm appalled!!! People like her shouldn't be teachers!!!!
Brendon, you are the greatest kid on the face of the earth!!! I love you dearly, so don't let someone like her bother you. She obviously knows not what she does!!!
To the best grandson in the world!!! I love you forever & always!!!!
UGH! What a wretched teacher! Since I was a teacher, I can honestly say I would have appreciated those chocolate covered strawberries a lot more than some money thrown at me. Brendon put so much thought into his gift. At least you know you have a thoughtful little boy on your hands, Amy.
HAPPY 30TH ANNIVERSARY, MR & MRS RUSSELL!!!
Love the date too 06-06-06, too funny :)
