An End to the Chaos
Baseball season is almost over! Woo hoo! Right now Brendon's team has played 9 games and had about a gagillion practices. All of the dedication seems to have paid off. His team is the number one team in the league, and there are 16 teams. This past week he was at the ball field alot. Yesterday he was there for more than 3 hours. The team looked like they were about to fall over by the time the game was over. Today the game got rained out, and tomorrow we will be at the field from 5:30-8:30. This will be his last game until next week when the tournament begins. Go Yankees! I am so proud of him for showing me that he has the ability to focus and dedicate himself to something, anything. For a long time I have wondered if he would ever be able to really focus himself on anything because he seems to have a problem paying attention. Now I am thinking that it is quite possible he doesn't have a problem paying attention, he has a problem paying attention to me!
School will be out June 1st. We have alot going on this month and then, VACATION! Brendon will start summer camp, which he loves BTW. It will cost me exactly $180 to keep him entertained during the summer. I am just glad that the days of keeping up with his homework and projects are over til August. Acedimically (I can't spell), Brendon has done extremely well this year. His teachers are very pleased. I am soooo happy that I held him back last year. His summer camp is a 5 star daycare and he gets to go bowling, take field trips, and go swimming everyday because the daycare has a pool. Can I go to camp too?
We should have a really nice summer, and then in August the chaos at the Smith house will resume. Brendon will start 2nd grade, and I will start back to school and try to hold down a job part time. I also want Brendon to do baseball and soccer next season. I choose to stay in denial about all of this until the end of the summer. It makes me dizzy just thinking about it. By May of next year you could possible see my head spinning like the girl in "The Exorcist".

Regardless, enjoy your boy, he's growing up so fast! I love that little guy and thanks again for a great dinner. Yummy~
Actually, I'm not done. I'd like to point out to "anonymous" that this blog isn't about Amy, it's about BRENDON! He IS old enough to read and how do you think that would make him feel when he reads this?!
His mother is lovingly keeping record of all his going-ons, so that he can have something to take with him as an adult. What kind of person insults a parent on a kid's website?
Please refrain from posting here. Hurting a little kid is unnecessary and cruel.
Oh, and BTW, my fat ass isn't so fat anymore!
Hey anonymous - Isn't it nice of you to insult a loving, hard working, single mom, who you know nothing about!!! You obviously don't or you wouldn't have made those nasty comments. We don't know if you have a fat ass or not, because you don't have the balls to sign your name. People like you disgust me!!! You have serious problems and I'm sure you are extremely insecure!!!
