Mothers Day
I know that my Mothers Day post is a bit belated, but this has been an extremely hectic week for us. We are going to Atl. this weekend and I have been trying to get my house cleaned and packed and Brendon's tournament started this week.
Mothers Day was great. My family went out to lunch, and then we went to my grandmothers house. I haven't seen her in awhile, so it was really nice. On Sunday night, we went to my friend Holly's for dinner. Her mother passed away a couple of years ago from breast cancer, and so I thought that she could use the company on such a difficult day.
I am really broke right now since I am going back to school in August, and Brendon starts summer camp soon. Since I had no money, I had to think of something very thoughtful to give my mother. I am going to clean her entire house while she is gone in a couple of weeks, and I gave her a nice framed poem called "More Than A Mother". I just have to say that my mom is the most phenominal woman I have ever known. There is no gift that I could give her that would measure up to the things she has done for me. I love you mom!
Anyway, here are the pictures from Mothers Day:

Brendon and me, he was getting sick of photos by this point

My most amazing Mother and me

My friends daughter, she just looked so cute after eating her chocolate cake, I had to take this one.

Brendon's team started their tournament on Monday. It was awesome. The kids won the game in just 45 minutes. They won 13-0, and by the forth inning they ended the game. That is the shortest game we have ever been to. Usually they last about 2 1/2 hours. Here are the kids after the game when coach paid for them to get ice cream at the concession stand. He was so proud of his team. They are still undefeated! Let's hope they can pull through this weekend. I would be so happy if they could win the tournament.
