Lilypie Baby Ticker Lilypie 1st Birthday Ticker

Amy's blog

This is a blog about me, Amy,my husband, Eric, and my son's Brendon and Gabriel. I really just want a space to write down all of the little things that you forget in everyday life. I have started this blog to have a place to remember all of Brendon's (and now Gabriel's) little antics and the funny things that he says and does.

Where is my baby's hair?

In an effort to give Brendon more independence and self expression, I let him pick the haircut that he wanted. Since he goes to private school and wears a uniform every day, he has little opportunity to express himself! I even let him tell the barber exactly how he wanted it to look. See picture below:

Next time I am not so sure that self expression is going to be a factor in the way he cuts his hair. He looks like he is all grown up! Where did my little boy go?
This weekend we did alot. I took Brendon to dinner and a movie. He loves Good Ol Days. Breakfast for dinner, that is his favorite!

After we ran around all day, it was time for me to have some fun. I went out with my friend Debra, and we had alot of fun. Here we are all dolled up:

On Sunday, after Brendon's baseball game, we went to the pool to hang out with Debra and her son, Elijah. It never ceases to amaze me that kids will go in a pool that feels like ice water, and not even notice that it is cold. Look how blue Brendon's lips are in the picture, but when asked if he is cold, he simply states "No, that water is not cold."
He tried to pretend, but was shivering every time he got out of the water. How cute. He is such a little man!

Bben looks like such a little man!!! When did he get that grown up???!!!

I still picture him in my head as a precocious 4 year old, full of questions and stories that begin with "You know what?"
