Amy's blog

This is a blog about me, Amy,my husband, Eric, and my son's Brendon and Gabriel. I really just want a space to write down all of the little things that you forget in everyday life. I have started this blog to have a place to remember all of Brendon's (and now Gabriel's) little antics and the funny things that he says and does.

A Very Merry Christmas

Well, we had a very good and busy Christmas this year. I can't believe it has already come and gone. Next year at this time we will have another little one to celebrate Christmas with. It was nice not to have to pretend Santa is real for Brendon any more. We didn't have to wait until he was asleep to lay out presents, and Brendon knew all of his toys came from us.
On Christmas Eve, we had to pull double duty. My family and Eric's family have big Christmas
Eve parties, so we had to go to both. We started out at my uncle Jerry's in the early evening.

We then left my uncle's house and made our way over to Eric's mom's house. She always has a huge blowout on Christmas Eve. Of course, we all had a great time. She really spoiled Brendon. She bought him a new Ipod, and many, many other gifts.

Brendon can't wait to get started going through his bag of gifts

On Christmas day, we decided this year we wanted to hang at our house. We invited my family over, and it was a great day. My mom gets a free meal from Reid's fine foods from her work every year, so we ate that and didn't really even have to do any cooking. It was truly a great day.

Brendon insisted on wearing camaflouge pajamas for Christmas night. Here he is discovering his gifts.

Look at all of his stuff. His "big" gift was a new digital camera and he got a pair of rollerblades

He got lots of Panthers gear, including a Julius Peppers jersey. He was soooo excited.

It was definately a good year at The White house...
