Lilypie Baby Ticker Lilypie 1st Birthday Ticker

Amy's blog

This is a blog about me, Amy,my husband, Eric, and my son's Brendon and Gabriel. I really just want a space to write down all of the little things that you forget in everyday life. I have started this blog to have a place to remember all of Brendon's (and now Gabriel's) little antics and the funny things that he says and does.

Halfway

Well, I have made it halfway through this pregnancy. I have finally started feeling baby Lucas kick, alot. This pregnancy has been vastly different from my pregnancy with Brendon. To begin with, I am about half the size that I was with him. Some people still cannot even tell I am pregnant when I am in certain clothes! I didn't have morning sickness with this little guy, but with Brendon I was sick all nine months. I have had to go to the bathroom about 50 times a day more than I did with Brendon. I also had preeclampsia with Brendon and stayed on bedrest from the 4th month to the end. This time my blood pressure has been 110/60, which is so low, it causes me to feel faint almost every morning. I think that Lucas might possibly be lying on my cyatic nerve, b/c my back is already killing me. I am worried about that b/c I am only halfway through. I think Lucas will be a very large baby b/c I weighed 9lbs. at birth and Eric weighed 9lbs., 8oz., and he is already measuring to be pretty big.
I am excited about having another baby, and also very nervous. Just seeing how different my pregnancy is makes me wonder how different it might be with the baby. I thought I knew what to expect with the pregnancy, but so far that hasn't been true. What if that is also the case with the baby? It has been 10 years for me. I haven't even changed a diaper in 7 years. I have gotten used to have regular sleep every night. I am very excited to meet him, and my family is also very excited. We are going to begin work on the nursery soon. Hopefully, I will quickly remember alot of the things that I forgot about.

Don't worry sweetie it will all come back to you. It's just a very natural thing when you're a Mother. Like your grandmother used to tell me "Don't worry the instructions come with them". Think how long it has been for me!! My baby is 26!! Love you!!

We went to Patterson Farm near Mooresville. It was awesome!

Oh, and you still totally need to make a baby registry :)

You will be fine. I think it's different with each child anyway but at least all the initial fears that come with the first one are long gone. And just think, you have a 10 year old to help out. I wish I had that. :)

Praying for you!
