Ultrasound #2

Well, we are most definately having a baby boy. After the ultrasound today, we determined he is a big one at that. My baby book says the baby should weigh about 5 1/4 oz. this week, and our baby weighs approx. 10oz. The MD said I was measuring ahead of schedule, but since we know when we conceived my due date will stay the same.
I wasn't showing for the longest time, but all of a sudden my belly popped out a couple of weeks ago. As of today I have gained 0 lbs. overall, but obviously judging from the size of the baby, he is getting plenty of nutrition. This is a picture that Brendon took of me today:



Today's ultrasound was a big day for measuring and looking at all of the organs. My ultrasound tech said the baby has a perfect heartbeat, and she wishes she could use my ultrasound to train the interns because he was a very cooperative fetus. Everything looked great. All of the organs are functioning properly, and nothing looks out of the ordinary. I was told that I have an anterior placenta, which is supposedly a really good thing. I was also told that that could be why I have not felt the baby kick as much as I did with Brendon. The ultrasound tech gave us a DVD of the whole ultrasound.
