Brendon's 10th Birthday Party

Brendon's 10th birthday is tomorrow. I can't believe I have been a mom for a decade. This is a special birthday so I decided to go all out. I knew that we wanted to have it at our new house, and since his birthday is in the hot part of summer we decided to do something with water outdoors. We reserved an inflatable slip n slide for the party. We had seen this at my niece's birthday last year, and thought it was really neat. Brendon wanted a Pirates of the Carribean theme, even though he has never seen the movie. I borrowed my mother in law's tables and chairs, and set everything up in the carport. It was great! Brendon said it was the best birthday party he had ever had. That is good b/c I am not sure we are going to have anymore big birthday parties like this one. Becky (my mother-in-law) took a ton of pics.

I got a pinata. The kids loved it. It was alot of fun.

We bought Brendon a new skateboard for his birthday.

I really had a great time. This was such a good party. It took alot of planning, but Brendon definately thought it was worth it.
