Little baby update

Today I had my second Dr.'s appointment. On Friday of last week the doctor made me come in and have a bunch of blood drawn b/c I had lost about 8lbs. in 3 weeks, and they were worried. I got the results from that bloodwork, and it was not really that great. I was deficient in several areas, and my doctor is deciding what they want to do to get my levels back up to normal. Luckily my folate was perfect, which is a big one when you are pregnant.
I had really wanted to try and hear the heartbeat on the doppler, but the doctor wasn't sure that it would work since I am only 10 weeks. Well, she was able to find it, and I got to hear it. That was such a precious moment for me. Until now, I have known that I was pregnant, but had no real association with the baby. I have been really tired, but had had no ultrasound or anything to show me. I guess it was just something I needed to see or hear to really believe that there is a baby in there. It sounds wierd, but that's just me. I will have my first ultrasound on August 25th. I am so excited! I will post pics after that...
