Amy's blog

This is a blog about me, Amy,my husband, Eric, and my son's Brendon and Gabriel. I really just want a space to write down all of the little things that you forget in everyday life. I have started this blog to have a place to remember all of Brendon's (and now Gabriel's) little antics and the funny things that he says and does.

Thankful

Let me just first of all, say that I have the most wonderful parents a girl could hope for. I was wondering how I was going to juggle work, school, and taking care of Brendon all of the time. Well, I was getting stressed about how to pay the high tuition at Brendon's school, and they called and said they would take care of it! What an enourmous gift they have given me. I think that I may be one of the luckiest girls around. School starts in fall, and my dad is going to sit down and budget with me, and help me get all of my finances taken care of. I am just so thankful to have so much help. That includes all of my friends too. The support is just overwhelming. Thank you everyone.

In other news, my mother told me something hilarious that Brendon said to her the other day:
Mom: Brendon go get me a bottled water.
Brendon then brought out a cup of water they gave him, it was from the tap
Mom: Brendon I asked you to get me a bottle of water
Brendon: Nana, you should be thankful for what you have, some people in this world have nothing.

Well, at least I know that he was listening all of those times I said that!

The things kids say!! I love it - I almost spit out my coffee from giggling with a mouth full. Thanks, Brendon!

Amy, I am so sorry I haven't been able to call you back yet. First, Sam got sick, and now we are shopping and packing for our cruise! Can I call you tonight?

Aww, B-ben! That kid never runs out of interesting things to say. I love how he's so serious about everything. My favorite thing to do is tell him something completely random and then watch as he rolls his eyes and explains stuff to me. He must think I'm nuts!

Thanks, Amy, for saying we're the most wonderful parents in the world!! We think you're a pretty amazing daughter, too!!! Even though you can't beat your dad in an argument, you can still hold your own. Brendon is so entertaining. The things he says, crack me up!!!
