Amy's blog

This is a blog about me, Amy,my husband, Eric, and my son's Brendon and Gabriel. I really just want a space to write down all of the little things that you forget in everyday life. I have started this blog to have a place to remember all of Brendon's (and now Gabriel's) little antics and the funny things that he says and does.

The Beach

My family went to the beach last week, and we had an absolutely amazing time. To be honoest, I was kind of surprised. Usually when you put my two brothers, myself, and my dad in a house together for that many days, it can be a recipe for disaster! We go to the beach so often, I just thought it would be another beach trip. It wasn't, we had probably the most fun we ever have as a family. Brendon is now old enough that he can do the same activities as we can. He went fishing and we all went tubing down the intercoastal waterway. My mom was freaking out when I went because she said, "I was worried about my baby, and the boat was going so fast!" Luckily she was not on the boat when it was Brendon's turn.

I posted quite a few pictures on here, but I dropped my camera and broke it, so only half of our trip got photographed. Also, I keep trying to post some pictures of the house, but the blogger is being a pain, so I will try to post those later.

Here are my dad and Brendon the night we went to eat pizza. Does my dad look like he could be 60 years old? I don't think so. Let's just hope that he gave me good aging genes too.

This is me and my mother at the pizza place. I actually think that we look alike in this picture.

My mother is seriously going to murder me for this one. I kept trying to take pics of her on the beach and she was getting mad. I snuck this one up on her.

Brendon quickly made some friends on the beach, and they started digging a big hole in the sand and filling it up with water.

This is my brother Scot, who as you can see, is also very fond of having his picture taken. He will be turning 37 at the end of this month.

Ok, I absolutely love this picture. I don't even know those other kids, but it turned out to be a great photograph with them in it. Brendon is on the right.

My brothers and I all went out to celebrate my younger brothers birthday. He just turned 24. Here are me and the bros at one of the places that we went to.

I ran into a guy that I went to high school with at the beach. I am sure a few of you that read this blog will remember Doug Neil. My brother thought he would be funny and jump up in the background. We had a great time hanging out. This picture was the last picture that I took before I dropped my camera. Probably won't be able to blog for a while.

Looks like you guys had a great time! I'm sorry about your camera, you need to get it fixed ASAP bc I need blog updates :)

Are you sure that's Doug Neill? He looks so different! I guess people change a lot from 18 to 26, huh?

Yay! I'm glad you're back!

It looks like you guys had a great time! I love all the pictures of Brendon; he has the best smile!

I think you look like both your parents. You have your dad's amile and your mom's cheekbones. Gorgeous!

Sigh. Look at those boys playing in that sand and ocean water. I hated playing in the sand as a girl - it just gets in too many....areas. Boys will be boys!

Okay, Amy, you are so dead!!! You know I hate pictures of myself, especially on the beach. The one without lipstick was bad enough, but in my bathing suit and no make up. Oh my God, I look horrible!!! That's probably what broke your camera. Carma's hell isn't it!!! Step away from the camera!!! Oh that's right, it's broken!!! Ooops!!!
