Reread the 100 things you wrote above. These are 100 reasons why I love you.
Hope you are have tremendous amounts of fun at Carowinds. Way to chaperone!
I love this idea! Again, I learned so many things about you I never knew before....like how you have had family here for two hundred years. Or how you wish you could be a career student. Or that you are obsessed with biochemistry! No science or math here - English all the way, please.
But I knew you had a passion for arguing. :) You always make such valid points. You may have never won an argument against your dad, but I bet you could win one against me!
What a fabulous list Amy. So much to comment on!
I, too, would love to attend college forever - I just love learning for its own sake. I found it very interesting to hear that other's criticized your choice to have the gastric bypass because they thought you were feeding society's negative view of women. I wholeheartedly disagree that could ever be the case; that's precisely the mechanism used by the patricarchy - to use women to "keep other women in their place", by telling them not to do those things that empower them and make them feel like the glorious and divine creatures that they are; but I digress. Also as an aside, I thought you looked like a million bucks last night - that dress was made for you. I also agree with you on the idea that I wouldn't return to my younger days if you paid me - people that say that "those were the days" make me nervous; what do they have left to live for, then? Finally, great job on the grades!
