I Just Don't Know What To Do!!!

My son seems to have turned into the spawn of Satan. I don't know what his problem is, but he is really pissing me off. I love him, but his attitude has got to go. There is just not enough room in my house for both of our attitudes, and I pay the bills, so his has got to go! Tonight he smelled his dinner, and proceeded to say, "That smells gross!" I told him about how that is hurtful to me, and then informed him that if he does it again, I will just send him to bed with NOTHING!!!
Brendon got in trouble at school yesterday for trying to show off to all of the other kids, and then lied about it to me. His punishment: No baseball for a week, and we are going to go to his game and cheer on his team, but he will be doing it from the bleachers instead of on the field. I think that should alleviate the problem. Baseball is a privledge, and I can giveth and I can taketh away. Therefore, I am going to taketh away. He is already really upset about this punishment. Sometimes I have to get really creative with punishments for him to make him pay attention. Growing up you always say that you will never act like your parents, and here I am babbling just like they would. I don't think you can truly appreciate your parents until you become one!
Brendon is going to the beach with my parents tomorrow and he won't be home until Monday. I know that he will really have fun with my parents. I will have a chance to relax and clean. NO BASEBALL woo hoo!!!
