Amy's blog

This is a blog about me, Amy,my husband, Eric, and my son's Brendon and Gabriel. I really just want a space to write down all of the little things that you forget in everyday life. I have started this blog to have a place to remember all of Brendon's (and now Gabriel's) little antics and the funny things that he says and does.

Relaxation

I have been trying to post this blog for about four day now. I keep getting interrupted or the blogger was down.
Last weekend was really great. Brendon went to the beach with my parents on Thursday afternoon and came home on Monday. Friday, I got a hot stone deep tissue massage. I highly recommend it! I was so relaxed that I actually went home and slept for eleven hours that night and I felt refreshed the next day. Saturday I was able to be lazy, and then I went to get a pedicure and I went shopping. A girl could get used to this! On Saturday night I was able to go out with my friends without having to worry about childcare. That was a nice change. By the time Sunday(Easter) rolled around I was really missing my little boy. At this point, I was just bored. Usually my weekends are filled with baseball fields, cleaning, and other errands. All of this time I have thought that I wasn't blessed with the maternal gene, but now I see that maybe I was wrong. I was sad that I missed Brendon's Easter, but he was having a blast at the beach. I was really glad to see him when he finally got home. Thank you mom and dad for helping both of us have a nice weekend.
This weekend we are back to baseball. I am going to try to take it easy this weekend because the next few weeks are going to be really busy. Next weekend my friends and I are taking our kids to the beach. I think it is going to be fun for all of us.
Everything has been crazy lately. I am just so busy that I haven't found much time to call people back, and if you are one of these people, I am sorry. Please don't be offended, and hopefully things will slow down after baseball season. Although, my dad informed me that he is going to put Brendon in golf this summer. I don't think golf will demand as much of my time. Happy Friday Everyone!!!

You totally have to get him plaid golfing pants and a sun visor! Oh, and those personalized socky things that go over the golf clubs!
