Amy's blog

This is a blog about me, Amy,my husband, Eric, and my son's Brendon and Gabriel. I really just want a space to write down all of the little things that you forget in everyday life. I have started this blog to have a place to remember all of Brendon's (and now Gabriel's) little antics and the funny things that he says and does.

Saturday

Yesterday Brendon and I were very productive. I was hoping that I wouldn't wake up sick again. I have had a fever for the past week, and I had to drag myself out of bed to go to work. Thank God I woke up feeling great yesterday. The house was in dire need of cleaning. Mopping, vacuuming, dusting, etc. Brendon was such a big helper. He helped me do almost everything, and I am glad he is at the age he can help. Plus he didn't really have a choice, since he is grounded right now! He turned on Radio Disney, and really got moving. I was also able to put away those huge loads of laundry and start cleaning out my closets. I am off on Tuesday and that is when I plan to start spring cleaning. I also managed to make my menu for dinners for the week, and go get everything at the grocery store that I needed. That grocery store was sooo crowded, and I got into it with the customer service lady. Her and another lady were just standing around, and most of the cashiers had no baggers. I pay alot of money to that store, and I expect someone, besides myself, to bag the groceries. I have bagged my own groceries for the past six weeks and I am fed up with it. She bagged half of a bag of mine and then got another bagger, who was working at another register, to come and bag the rest of my groceries! What a lazy ass! I probably blew the whole thing out of proportion because I was kinda tired from cleaning. Anyway, I managed to cook a good dinner and my brother and Brendon really thought it was great.
Today we have plans to go meet Joe (Brendon's dad) at the movie theater to see The Pink Panther. We may then go to dinner and shop. I am really glad that I have two days off next week. Lora and my friend Melanie are coming over for dinner on Thursday. It should be fun.

Brendon likes to mop. Here he is mopping the dining room while I stand by and take pictures!

Is Brendon any good at vacuuming? If so, send him my way!

Also, we need some Father/Son pics. Hope you took some this weekend!

Sorry Lora, I didn't get to get any father/son pics, Joe was really sick on Sunday and was barely able to make it to the movie. I didn't want to break out the camera and put them throught that torture. I will definately take some next week. Oh, and yes, his appearance was much better this time.
