The Time Will Be Here Soon

On Wed. I went to the doctor for my weekly checkup. I was 37 1/2 weeks. I was already 2cm. dilated, but not effaced at all. He checked me, and then measured baby. He believes that our little one is already about 8 lbs. He said that he would like him to stay in the oven for about another week, and then he would like to take measures to get him out. After my exam, I began to have contractions at regular 10 minute intervals. The contractions continued all day yesterday, and seemed to subside last night. I am not sure when baby will decide to come, but we will be ready when he does. I am going back to the doctor a week from today, and he will strip my membranes to try and make labor begin a little early. If that doesn't work he would like to do Cervadil, and then pitocin. I don't want pitocin at all, so pray that it doesn't come down to that...
