Belated Vacation Post

I have really just been lazy about this post. We had a fantastic time at Ocean Isle at my parents beach house at the end of June. My parents and I stayed with the kids for a full 9 days. It was kind of long, and I was ready to get back home. Gabriel got a bad ear infection halfway through the week, and the urgent care gave him an antibiotic, but it didn't cure it. He is all better now, though.

Gabriel absolutely loved the beach. He layed on his blanket just as content as he could be. Afterwards he would take a long nap.

The view from my dad's boat in the ocean. It is really hard to send a 10 year old boy out into the ocean when you see how vast it is. I was just always praying he would come back in one piece.
